Introduction
Friends of Logging Chain Heritage Park was formed following the Township of Lake of Bays’ purchase of the former Logging Chain Lodge property and the opportunity to create a new public park in the heart of Dwight. We bring local knowledge and an understanding of the area’s environmental features, history, and community character. We aim to contribute thoughtful, community-based perspectives that encourage a balanced approach to park design — one that benefits both Dwight and the broader Lake of Bays community.
